Free guides and emails
When you sign up for a free guide, such as The 20-Minute Life Reset, you will receive the guide plus practical emails from The Tiny Book of Being Human, including offers for our guides. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every email. How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Buying a guide
- Who sells it. Our paid guides are sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy is the legal seller of your order and handles payment, your invoice and any sales tax or VAT. Its own purchase terms are shown at checkout and also apply to your order.
- Prices. Prices are shown in US dollars. The checkout may show the price in your local currency and adds any sales tax or VAT that applies in your country.
- Delivery. Our guides are digital. You receive a download link straight after payment, by email and on screen. If you don’t receive it within an hour, check your spam folder or email us.
- Your right of withdrawal. If you live in the EU or the UK, you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital content that is delivered straight away, this right ends once delivery starts, but only if you agreed to immediate delivery at checkout and confirmed that you lose this right. Our checkout asks you for this.
- Our 14-day guarantee. On top of your legal rights, we offer a voluntary guarantee: if a guide doesn’t help, email us within 14 days and we’ll refund you. See our Refund Policy.
What you may do with our guides
When you get one of our guides, free or paid, we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to download it, read it on your devices, print it and fill in the worksheets for yourself. You may share our website and sign-up pages with anyone you like. Please don’t share, sell, upload or publish the guides themselves, in whole or in part, and don’t use them for paid workshops, courses or client work without our written permission.
Our content
All text, designs, images, worksheets and the name and logo of The Tiny Book of Being Human belong to us or to those who licensed them to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Short quotes with a clear credit and a link to our website are always welcome.
Not professional advice
Our guides and emails share practical, general guidance for everyday life. They are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. Read our full Disclaimer.
Liability
We put care into everything we make, but we cannot promise that our website will always be available or that our content is free of errors. You use our guides and advice at your own discretion. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for a paid guide is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the laws of the country where you live.

Our website, guides and emails may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For a purchase, the version that was online when you bought applies.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you have a complaint, please email us first, and we will do our best to solve it together. Disputes will be handled by the competent court in Amsterdam, unless the law of your country gives you the right to go to a court where you live. EU consumers can also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution information at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu.
